So I've seen on facebook how you can make icecream out of frozen fruits, mainly bananas. Well the last time the kids didn't eat the bananas right away & they got to ripe-I decided to cut them up and freeze them in the hopes of experimenting on some of this "nice cream". Being at home due to spring break/vacation & quarantine due to COVID19 I have had a lot of free time on my hands and decided to give it a shot. Threw everything in to the food processor and just hoped for the best. My poor food processor just bounced those frozen bananas around for a bit, but finally gave up and blended it up.....and I have to say-it was amazingly good. Next time, I am going to make chocolate and peanut butter..mmmmmm!
What you'll need:
2-3 ripe frozen bananas
I used 4-5 frozen raspberries for this experiment
splash as needed of Silk half & half
Added to food processor, blended until smooth-adding in a little milk as I went for the smooth consistency that I wanted.
