I love Sunday Mornings

I really do love Sunday mornings.  I guess because the stress of the work week has finally been fluffed off, there are usually no obligations or any place to be-so you can just relax.  Today, my sweetheart and I had a long talk & I feel pretty darn good about it.  He is truly my beloved...and I took this photo in honor of him...and while thinking of him and how much he made me smile & laugh this weekend.  I love you Billy :)

Quote of the Day!

"Liars share with those they deceive the desire not to be deceived."  -  Sissela Bok

Poem I read today!

‎"When things go wrong as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up though the pace seems slow--
You may succeed with another blow,
Success is failure turned inside out--
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit--
It's when things seem worst that you must not quit."

Roller Coaster of Love

So married life is slowly managing to slip back into a some what normal stage.  It's been a bit of an emotional roller coaster & I still have my moments of none-clarity.  I just keep my eye on the prize (so to speak) and that is what I want in the end, which is a happier, healthier and more productive marriage & life.  I thank God every day for my strength and for my love.  I find myself slowly allowing myself to feel secure and comfortable again. And I guess that is a good thing, as long as the communication flows between me and my darling.

Xander's First Game Back

Last night, Xander had his first game back with Fort White Indians.  We played a Trenton team.  My sister even came out to watch the ending of the game, which was nice.  Xander only was able to bat once-but he had a great hit, hit it hard but it was retrieved quickly & thrown to first before his fast little legs could get there.  He was so disappointed.  In the photo below, you can probably tell-I took that a few moments after he came into the dug out very upset.  He did great at backing up third base & short stop....and to top it off-his team pulled off the win :)

Santa Fe Madness VII Tournament

What a great weekend of baseball.  Here is our record:

Game 1-loss
Game 2-win
Game 3-win
Game 4-win
Game 5-win

The boys played great.  They put the ball in play & made some great defensive moves.  So very proud of them!!!!  They won the championship for the b-bracket.

Friday Night Baseball

Last night was Weston's teams first game in a three game weekend tournament series.  They lost against the Gainesville Grizzles 13-10 but it was a pretty exciting game to watch.  Ending the last inning that the Grizzles where up, Weston caught a hard hit line drive out to center field.  He ran in like someone was chasing him with a huge grin on his face waving the ball in the air....he was beyond excited. When I went to talk to him in the dug out he said he thought he was having a heartattack, haha.

Friday Inspiration!

I saw this and it instantly made me think of my main squeeze....I love him...and I am thinking of him always!  Love you babe.

Xander's Back in Action

So last night at baseball practice when Xander's teammates saw him for the first time in months they were so excited.  It was so cute....you could hear them yelling "XANDER, XANDER, HI XANDER..." and a few of them ran onto the field yelling "COACH JIM XANDERS BACK, XANDERS BACK".....it was so sweet to see him welcomed back with open arms....not to mention his first day back he hit the two out of three balls pitched to him....(awesome right)  His first game back in Monday in Trenton, hopefully my honey can take off & come watch....if not, I'll take plenty of pictures!!!

I love this song & Video!

Spring Ball-Take Me Away

We are in the middle of our spring ball season.  Weston is in Minors again this year & this photo was taken on our way to practice the other day.  He was sweet enough to give me a quick smile before we headed out the door.  And he said, "now you have something to edit momma".  Such a sweet boy, lol!  This weekend we have a three day tournament.  Wish us luck, Go Vipers :)

Last night I went to the grocery store & grabbed some more toppings and ingredients for my fabulous mini-deep dish pizzas.  Xander put in last night that he wanted pizza, and you know me..I like to make the kids happy, ahaha (and myself)  It's going to be epic........ :)

Happy Monday.

This weekend was exciting and exhausting.  Moving can be difficult, but mostly it's just tiresome.  Not only are up moving heavy things around, but you're putting things back away & you're cleaning.  Not to mention the daily things you normally do, like laundry, cooking and dishes.  All in all, it was a great weekend.  We spent quality time together, played the guitar hero even-which Billy just laughed at me the entire time.....I guess I get to much into it...ahh, it's good to hear him laugh!  I missed & love him.....;)

Baseball Saturday.

I cannot wait until tomorrow.  Weston has a game at 9am.  It's going to be amazing and he gets to wear his brand new baseball pants.  They are totally crisp & very bright white.  Wonder how long that will last?  I bet they get a stain on the way to the baseball field.

life is good.

It's moving back in day.  Nervous and excited.  Wonder if life will just go back to normal, or if it will be all new. Pray for us :)
